I hate to admit it but I think winter has finally graced us with its presence here in Toronto. While we were blessed with the longest and most beautiful fall that I can recall in my six years of living here, I don’t think I will ever get used to winter and the nightmare that is shooting photos outside in the cold…I just was not built for it you guys! Anyway, I’ve been wearing some variation of this outfit since the weather dropped below zero and I love that it is both practical and stylish for exploring the city. A thick wool sweater, camel jacket and a scarf keep me warm on top, while blue jeans and these chocolate coloured booties from Le Chateau (my December shoe pick) are so comfortable and classic. Of course my winter outfit wouldn’t be complete without a warm drink in my hand. Lately I’ve been treating myself to the holiday selections from McCafé and my goodness do they have some delicious holiday offerings! The peppermint mocha is my go-to with whipped cream and candy cane bits, it’s Christmas in a cup. If you’re more of a coffee lover though than the salted caramel latte is a nice holiday departure from the regular latté.
