With Natal Day weekend approaching, I thought that these adorable watermelon shaped sail boats would be perfect to pack for a weekend picnic or day trip with the family or friends. They are so simple yet make such an impact instead of just your typical watermelon slices. Of course, I did have some left over pieces from around the sail boats so I made a few small star shapes and then just cut the rest of the watermelon into cubes. I’m definitely going to enjoy these out in the sunshine this weekend (hopefully), but I’d love to know. What are your plans for the Natal Day weekend my fellow Nova Scotians?
