Velvet is one of the biggest trends this season and one of my favourites to wear right now.
From boots, to skirts, chokers and of course tops, velvet is everywhere and I have a serious crush. I picked up this bodysuit recently as I wanted to add a pop of velvet into my closet for upcoming holiday parties but I also wanted something that could be versatile and worn casually. I’ve been debating on a pair of velvet booties (which still might happen) but when I spotted this pinky/nude bodysuit at Zara I knew I had found a winner. I just love the luxe fabric, and kimono style sleeves that make this top feel so light and flowy. The bodysuit also allows for tucking in without any bunching so that was an added bonus to this already beautiful piece. I’ve been wearing this bodysuit casually just like this with jeans, block heels and a leather jacket (not pictured) but I also think it would look amazing with a burgundy leather pencil skirt and a pair of glitzy heels for the holidays.
