Our August long weekend was spent here in the city, so on Monday evening we figured we would take full advantage of the empty (for the most part) downtown area and head out for a cocktail and bite to eat at Colette.
I was pretty excited to get dressed up and I knew that this romper would be something that was both comfortable to wear and a piece that offers a little more allure compared to my usual bohemian and free flowing dresses. I paired my look with one of my favourite Le Chateau sandals and off we went. We realized upon arrival that the scene at Colette did not look promising. Not only was it closed but there was also a movie being filmed right next to where we wanted to grab some photos. It definitely made for a silly experience and we ended up going home to watch the new Netflix movie Tallulah instead which was fine by me.
