My affinity for the seventies is no secret as I’m sure you know by now (evidence here, here and here), so it comes as no surprise that this shift dress, with the most perfect fluttery sleeves has recently made its way into my closet.
Originally I spotted this dress on Revolve in a cornflower blue colour, and although I loved the eyelet detailing, it didn’t really make sense to purchase such a summery dress this close to fall. Just when I was about to pass on the dress, Revolve came out with this version in which the cornflower blue and eyelet were exchanged for gorgeous saffron and lace inserts. I wore this look for date night recently with these strappy suede sandals and a bold plum lip. I received SO many complements on my dress that that reaffirmed that this dress was a great choice.
