Who knew that only a few minuets away from our house there was a botanical oasis that would make me feel like I was in a tropical paradise? I had been wanting to go to Allan Gardens for a long time after seeing it in the movie Chloe (minus the Liam Neeson/Amanda Seyfriend scene) and finally did this week with my boyfriend and sisters. It literally took my breath away as I had never thought it possible to have a taste of the tropics in the middle of downtown Toronto. Naturally, I wore pants filled with flora to match all of the plants and flowers that surrounded me. Now if only I could actually hop on a plane to a tropical destination where there was a beach instead of brick surrounding me.
