A few weeks ago when I was at work, one of the girls and I got to talking about food, because obviously when you are surrounded by a bunch of women, the topic will without a doubt come up. We had been talking about gazpacho and how I didn’t think I could get over the fact that it was essentially a cold soup. She gave me the name of the chef called Ottolenghi and swore that I just hadn’t had good gatpacho, and that his recipe would be a game changer for me. Although I will admit it is still not one of my top dinner choices, this gazpacho was garden fresh and the watermelon and crutons really gave it added flavour and texture which I loved. So I guess in this situation you could say…I ate my words.
