Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend. We kept things pretty low-key around here except for heading out to run errands on Saturday (I wore this outfit) and brunch at White Lily Diner on Sunday. Other than that, I stayed home on Sunday and organzied, organized, organized. Being a blogger I get a lot of stuff sent to me, especially around the holiday season, and it can easily get cluttered and disorganized. Jamie recently picked up a shelving unit but even then I found myself just throwing stuff on it with no real method behind it. To that end, I spent the day cleaning the unit out and organizing the unit by-product, what I’m using it for, when I plan on using it, etc. I also organized my closet and dresser drawers and I felt so light afterward! Anyway, back to this outfit that I wore Saturday for a little errand running and shopping fun. I’m not in full holiday mode juuust yet but I love adding little festive details into my look this time of year. These green velvet skinny jeans and bow neck sweater were recent online purchases and I think together they make such a fun, subtly festive outfit. I loved wearing this look for running errands but I know I’m going to be putting it on again for upcoming holiday festivities. I’m also especially obsessed with this sweater because it’s just SO cute and comfortable and will go with so many other pieces in my closet. I’m actually planning on wearing it underneath a low-cut dress for a dinner event tonight (I’ll be sure to share the look on Instagram stories).
