During the fall months, one of my favourite ways to go about putting an outfit together is to incorporate as many textures as I can. This outfit for, for example, is pretty basic in an of itself, a mini skirt, sweater and knee high boots. However, upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that I actually used around 5 different textures that together add a ton of interest. There’s the leather skirt, knit sweater, suede boots, wool hat and lastly, the woven basket bag which is my favourite addition to this outfit as it I think it adds an unexpected element. In my opinion, there is never enough texture mixing when it comes to fall dressing and this outfit has definitely proved that.
