Heading into Monday with a bit of a different post than usual with an appearance by my very handsome boyfriend, Jamie.
Yesterday we were off to the races at Woodbine Race Track to take part in the annual Queen’s Plate, thanks to Rethink Breast Cancer. We thought it would be fun to share a couples style post in collaboration with Ted Baker so we hope you enjoy!
Both Jamie and I knew we wanted to dress a mixture of fancy meets preppy, and only one brand came to mind when thinking about horse race style. We kindly asked our friends at Ted Baker to dress us and boy did they deliver. I wore a stunning blush pink fit and flare dress with this most gorgeous garden print that I received so many compliments on throughout the day. I loved walking a twirling in this dress and honestly did not want to take it off! I paired my look with a custom Oh Dina! fascinator that could not have been more me. The cream and white colours were subtle, but with this fascinatior, the details were everything. From the feathers to the fish net, I was feeling like British royalty. I finished my look with an ivory pair of Le Chateau sandals (my pick for July) and a feminine Le Chateau purse.
Jamie wore a botanical print shirt from Ted Baker along with a grey blazer that included a subtle micro pin print, fun blue buttons and a pocket square in which we opted to tuck into the blazer in lieu of a flower pin. He paired his look with a pink tie, light linen shorts and boating shoes. He looked pretty darn dapper if I do say so myself.
It was so much fun dressing up with my man and heading to the races We really loved snapping these shots together and it made for a few great laughs. What do you think? More couple posts in the near future?
