Exactly around this time last year, we had the absolute pleasure of having our living room redesigned in partnership with Artemano (see the before and after here, it’s pretty unreal). They kindly gifted us a new couch, chairs and the wooden stump you see in the photo above, while I purchased a new rug, TV unit, accessories and a coffee table a little later on (not pictured, see here). Because we were pretty crunched for time with this makeover, (we did it in under a week) I decided that the best route would be to stick with a neutral colour palette while incorporating texture throughout as it felt clean and classic. While the living room is a vast improvement from our eye sore of a living room before and I am forever grateful that we were able to switch things up, I find myself craving colour this season more than ever before. I am by no means an interior design blogger, I get most of my information about trends and design from this lovely lady, I do love playing around with decor and switching things up every so often. So with our current living room as inspiration, I decided to create a little mood board for what I’d love to do with our living room this spring. Colour isn’t something I’ve gravitated towards in the past, but I am just loving a subtle pop of pink mixed with grey and indigo as of late (especially a traditional rug in pink). What about you? Are you a colour fan with it comes to interior design or do you like to keep things neutral?
