It is a rare occasion when I opt for an outfit that is entirely monochromatic. I always find that when I choose something in shades of the same colour that playing with textures (this wool jacket and sweater with silk ruffles) helps break up the look. I am completely over winter, so on days where being outside isn’t necessary, I have been trying to incorporate lighter pieces into my outfits. Although next week when we go skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, I am sure it will be back to base layers and my parka.
