Happy Friday, friends! How was everyone’s week? Mine seemed to get away from me even though I don’t feel like I was all that busy. Oh well, that happens sometimes. One thing I did mean to share but didn’t get manage to do was the blog post on all of the things I’m doing to be proactive with this pregnancy and how I’m keeping a positive mindset. That didn’t happen but I promise I WILL get that up next week.
As you can tell from these photos, the fall colours are here in Halifax and oh my gosh it is just so pretty! Jamie and I were driving around the other day and I couldn’t stop talking about how much I love fall and the colours that come along with it. We stopped over in the Hydrostone to get a coffee and treat at Julien’s, but they had just closed about 15 minutes before we arrived. I was a little disappointed, as I wanted to sit outside on the patio (you can see it through the gates in this photo) and Edwin spotted cookies through the window. Luckily there was no cookie meltdown but he did walk right up to the door to try to get in and kept saying “COOKIE” (he is definitely my son lol!).
I feel like I’ve been having a harder time dressing my body during this pregnancy as I’m feeling a lot more self-conscious than I was when pregnant with Edwin. I think it has to do with my lack of physical abilities and because I was JUST starting to feel like myself again when we found out we were expecting baby #2. With that, I’ve felt a bit uncomfortable in front on the camera but my friends at Rose Maternite recently gifted me this pumpkin spice coloured dress and I couldn’t help but share. This dress is so comfortable and I just love the colour. it’s also very affordable, as are all of their products and will be a great dress to keep in my closet after babe.
