A full skirt, sequins and velvety pumps had never felt more appropriate than they did for a New Years eve dinner at Chives. The drinks were amazing (I had the Pera Fresca that tasted like lemon meringue pie), the food was insane (oyster tasters, beef tenderloin, gnocchi with seared scallops) and of course my date who was looking very dapper kept me giggling the entire meal. I rang in the new year surrounded by love and great friends and I couldn’t have asked for a better evening. However, I did change into some sequins party pants later on so I could dance the night away looking like a disco ball.
