Pink hasn’t been a colour I’ve gravitated towards too often, so when I do find something in the fun, punchy colour I like to tone it down with a more muted look. I recently stumbled upon this plush pink sweater at Aerie the other day while doing some holiday shopping and I immediately fell in love with the cropped style, turtleneck and of course the colour. It’s not so in-your-face as some pink shades are, rather more of a salmon-pink, and when paired with unexpected silver pants, a camel coat and black flats it’s a nice alternative to my usual cream, white, and grey sweaters that have taken over my closet. I also want to mention that I’m obsessed with these pants I picked up at Joe Fresh (can you believe it!?) They were under $40 and I love that they can be worn casually like this look, or dressed up with heels and a blouse as an alternative to a dress for a holiday party…a must have in my opinion!
