Something I’ve realized about moving back to Nova Scotia, especially right now as I’m so focused on getting everything unpacked…is that I am moving at a much slower pace. There aren’t really any events to head to during the week day and I have yet to make plans with friends because I’ve been so consumed with getting our house together. For that reason, it hasn’t made much sense to snap photos of my week when in truth, there isn’t really anything to share. So with that, I’ve decided that I’ll be taking a little Highs and Lows Hiatus until I get back into a groove and actually have photos to share. However, since I post outfits on Thursdays, I can always give you a little end of the week recap here if I don’t end up posting traditional Highs And Lows photos. I’m also going to keep the Take Note series going on Friday so fear not, there will still be content for you guys to enjoy going into your weekend! I know there are a lot of changes happening but I feel like this makes sense for right now as I simply don’t want to be taking random photos of a week where I actually didn’t leave my house, haha!
Anyway! Onto this outfit. I picked this sweater dress up recently from Banana Republic and knew that it was going to be a hit. I didn’t even try it on which I know is probably advised against when you’re pregnant but I had a feeling it was going to be super bump-friendly and a dress that I could grow with. I love the plush pink colour and the material is oh so soft. The buttons going up the side of the dress are also a lovely touch. I styled this look a little more boho-casual but can see this dress with low or heeled over the knee boots or heels and a cropped faux fur jacket for the holidays. SOOO many options with this one, friends!
