The cherry blossoms have officially bloomed in High Park and so yesterday we woke up around 5:30 am to take them in during the early morning hours and of course to capture some photos. We arrived around 6:45 and there were already people in the park snapping photos. By the time we left at 8, the parking lot was full! It’s amazing how something like a cherry blossom bloom can bring a whole city to a park but it is undeniably beautiful and after not having much of a spring last year, it feels like a breath of fresh air. I purchased this dress back in early March with full intentions to wear it to visit the cherry blossoms (is that embarrassing?). I was so happy to finally cut the tags of yesterday and am now going to be wearing it all of the time. I love that is can be dressy with a pair of heels or more casual by opting for simple, flat sandals. The dress itself is made of linen, which makes it so soft and the ruffles are such a flowy dream! This bag, by Sea and Grass, is another one of my recent loves. It adds such great texture to any outfit and has a surprising amount of room for a small crossbody bag. I can definitely see myself carrying this baby around with me all summer long.
