Since the beginning of September I’d been lusting after this moody fall floral maxi dress from Banana Republic.
However, with its $200 price tag I figured the ratio of price to wearability didn’t make sense for me so I left it on the rack. This past weekend while at the mall I found myself back in Banana Republic making a bee line to the sale rack when I spotted this dress from a few metres away. They had 1 petite dress in my size left. It was like it was just waiting for me and for $50 price tag (it is cheaper in store than online) I couldn’t say no! Normally at this time in November I wouldn’t even be able to wear a dress like this but the weather has been so beautiful these last few days that I took full advantage and it for a little walk around the city yesterday. Paired with these gorgeous tan suede-like over the knee boots from Le Chateau I was wearing an outfit that I always dream of wearing in the fall but never actually can because it’s usually too hot or too cold…but yesterday it was just right.
