The last few days I’ve spent a lot of time inside at home prepping holiday content and simply getting all the things on my to-do list completed. While it has been nice, there came a point where I needed to get out. Luckily for me (and everyone in Toronto), there was a spike in temperature on Tuesday. I couldn’t believe that it was 15 degrees outside and so I did what any fashionable gal would do during an unseasonably warm day and dressed up in a playful pleated skirt, pink marled sweater and velvet pumps. Pleated skirts and sweaters have been one of my go-to outfit combinations for years and no matter how many times I wear the mixture I feel feminine, put together and completely myself. One thing I’ve been adding that’s new to me this year are hair bows. I literally can’t get enough of them and have worn one every chance I get. Combined with my old favorite sweater/skirt combo and new favorite hair bow trend, I was definitely ready to get myself out the door and head to a couple of afternoon events.
