Happy Thursday friends! I was originally planning on keeping the blog posts going up until tomorrow, but if I am being completely honest, I am in need of a little blogging break. I’ve felt so relaxed since being in Halifax for the holidays and so I figured what the heck, I’m not going to make myself feel guilty about not publishing 1 extra post. Today is just as good of a time as any to pack things up for a couple of weeks and wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Reflecting back on this year has admittedly been difficult. I never knew that a year could be both the best and the worst, but that was most definitely the case with 2017. I’ve gone through feeling the highest of highs and the lowest of lows this year, but I will say that if going through so many feelings in 365 days have taught me anything, it’s resilience. It blows my mind how we humans can go the toughest of times and still find the light at the end of the tunnel. While I have definitely had my fair share of hardships this year, I still see that I am surrounded by people who, while they’ve dealt with their fair share of hardships as well, love with reckless abandon, and that is truly all anyone can ask for. I’m going to end things here and wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope that you are able to find time to reflect on your own year as well as are able to allow yourself grace to go into 2018. Above all, end the year with LOVE because the world could definitely use a little more of it. xo
