Happy Monday friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Like I mentioned on Friday, we headed to a pumpkin patch to pick up pumpkins to carve this weekend and watched a couple of Halloween movies
(Hocus Pocus and The Strangers). Funnily enough, we actually didn’t get our pumpkins from the patch because I think we went too late in the month and every single good pumpkin was gone! We did, however, get the most delicious pumpkin donuts which were worth the trip. Anyway, on to my outfit for today. It’s started to cool down here in Toronto but Friday wasn’t too bad so I slipped on my new favourite dancing dress from Emma Knudsen for drinks with a couple of friends. Emma recently surprised me by sending me this dress from her new fall collection as she said it had my name all over it…I couldn’t agree more. I’ve become such a fan of Vancouver based designer Emma Knudsen and continue to be blown away by what she comes out with season after season. Each piece is so wearable and comfy and I always love the prints she chooses. This blush pink number is so fun and flirty with its flowy silhouette, bell sleeves, and pink floral print. I love it for the fall with knee-high boots (I can’t stop wearing these) and will definitely be carrying this dress into the spring (so far away!) and pairing it with heels. Pink and floral prints are something I think a lot of people steer away from during the fall and winter months, but I love how bright it looks against the fall scenery. Plus, it’s a total mood booster! If you’re not crazy over pink, this dress also comes in black and a gorgeous burgundy colour.
