I remember years ago when I would watch What Not to Wear with Stacey London. She was forever harping on the victims participants on the show who’d rather choose to be comfortable over being stylish. Now, I understand where she was coming from as more often than not, the participants on the show were wearing actual pajamas in public and well, let’s face it, that isn’t exactly chic. But pajama dressing? That’s another story. With pajama dressing, there is never a need to sacrifice comfort for style as is the case with this look. These pants from Club Monaco are made from the softest silk material and feel amazing on my skin. There’s not struggle to get them on and they just feel terrific. The Mae blouse by Emma Knudsen, who you may remember from my Spotlight Series last year, is another great piece to opt for instead of a basic t-shirt. My sister actually called it my “fancy t-shirt” which I thought was so accurate and cute. It’s made from the softest cotton that looks like denim but feels much lighter (perfect for spring). I love the sweet little ruffle on the bottom and the oversized fit. This outfit was all about comfort, yet I managed to stay true to my feminine, pulled together style.
