This week I could tell that the holidays are officially here. I took a little a stroll around the city and spotted so many homes decorated to the nines with garland, string lights and a lot of holiday cheer! It makes me feel so happy to see just how excited people get about Christmas and for me, seeing all the beautifully decorated homes reminds me so much of when I was a child. We would bundle into the car and take a trip to see Christmas lights all over the city, did any of you do that? It was such a magical feeling, and to this day I still become giddy when I see sparkly lights covering a house, especially at night. I have also found myself getting into the holiday spirit, especially when it comes to my outfit choices as of late (see evidence here & here). I spotted this lace mid length dress online at Morning Lavender recently and knew it would be the perfect addition to my holiday dress line-up. The navy color is more surprising than say red or gold for the holidays, but the full lace and tulle underlining feels very festive. When paired with a pretty little velvet hair bow, velvet pumps and a garnet colored lip, I’d say this is little lace look fits straight into the New Years Eve scene from “The Holiday”.
