If there is one thing that I find exciting about living in 2016 it’s that I can easily pull outfit inspiration from any and all decades at any time. I love that I can be influenced by the minimalist nineties one day and the swinging sixties the next, but truth be told I’ve always had quite the soft spot for the seventies. We watched Vinyl for the first time last week and I quickly became inspired by the shows amazing fashion and wanted to create my take on seventies style ever since. Revolve (one of my go-to online stores) has some great lace-up tops that I’m loving right now and this salmon pink option was an instant pick. I knew it would be a must have for spring with it’s breezy fabric, short sleeves and feminine colour. I had originally planned on wearing this top with skinny jeans and nude pumps but after becoming totally enthralled by Olivia Wilde via Vinyl I decided to opt for wide leg pants, modern hoop earrings and this beauty of a saddle bag instead.
What I’m Wearing: l’academie safari blouse c/o Revolve (here) // Jeans (similar) // Heels c/o Le Chateau (here) // Bag; Mackage via Blossom Lounge (here) // Earring c/o Jenny Bird (coming soon)
