We arrived back from our much needed staycation at the JW Marriott Muskoka yesterday and boy do I ever feel refreshed! I’ll be sharing a full recap of our trip next week but for now I’m sharing a little outfit inspiration for taking a trip somewhere cold. I love planning outfits to match wherever I’m travelling and Muskoka was no exception. While Muskoka isn’t a “ski village” per-se, it does certainly lend that après ski vibe so I figured that base layers and fair isle sweaters would match perfectly with the back drop. This sweater is one that I actually borrowed from my sister, but truth be told if you’re looking for sweaters like this than look no further than Value Village. They have a ton of ski-inspired sweaters for well under $10. I do love a good J.Crew fair isle knit as much as the next person but I also love the uniqueness of a thrift store sweater find and this one is just do darn cute…and affordable! If you’re taking a trip to Muskoka be sure to layer up! I wore these leggings which are 100% wool along with my Ugg snow boots, earmuffs, gloves and a parka the entire time.
