I don’t know about you but I can hardly believe that the holiday season is finally here! I feel like I say the same thing every year, but my goodness did November ever creep up on me! There’s already so much buzz about the holidays and of course holiday parties that I can’t wait to throw and attend. Getting ready for holiday parties is probably one of my favorite things about this season (besides entertaining, baking, time with family, Christmas music…okay who am I kidding, I LOVE everything about the holidays) and I so enjoy sharing how I get myself ready and what I plan on wearing. Much like last year, where I shared my getting ready routine with Schick, I wanted to reiterate how much I love the ritual of taking extra time to prep and get dolled up before a big night out. My routine always starts in the shower where I prep my skin by exfoliating gently. After I exfoliate I can always count on Schick to give me the closest shave possible. After my skin is prepped and moisturized I’ll follow up with my hair, makeup (I love adding a little glitter to my eyes this time of year) and of course, my outfit. Sequin has been my go-to for years when it comes to dressing up for holiday parties because it is so undeniably festive. This skirt is perfect because it’s ultra festive and can be worn with so many different tops. I love it with a cozy sweater though because it makes the overall look feel more casual and allows the skirt and my legs to really shine through. And that’s it!
