On Tuesday I woke up before work and watched the Remembrance Day ceremonies in Ottawa. As I paid my respects during my two minutes of silence, I felt different from any other year. The scene at Parliament Hill felt heavy and somber to me, because of what had occurred just weeks before. It really puts into perspective how close you have to hold onto your loved ones. Today I am looking forward to decorating our Christmas tree and spending the evening enjoying my families company and really appreciating how lucky we are.
