After an hour held up at the American border crossing, a broken down vehicle, tow ride and car rental later, we finally made it to our destination in Charleston! Well, actually, we’re currently staying in Summerville, which is about 30 minutes outside of Charleston, but from the above photo, you can see that it’s quite charming in and of itself. I’ve wanted to visit South Carolina for years and I am so happy that our next few days will be spent with Jamie soaking up the southern sunshine and eating all of the food. It took us a heck of a time to get here so we’re definitely going to be appreciating every single second spent in this beautiful state.
