{Checking into the Fairmont Royal York for the evening. How opulent is this lobby!?}
As I’m writing this post, I’m swaddled up in the coziest hotel bed at the Fairmont Royal York watching Grey’s Anatomy (my current obsession) and eating breakfast in bed. If that’s not the ideal way to go into the weekend, then I don’t know what is! Jamie and I were very kindly invited to spend the evening here because the Royal York Hotel is collaborating with the Toronto Light Festival this year and wanted us to experience the partnership first hand. This is the second year that the Light Festival is running and I’d say that this year’s installations are even more amazing than last. I love that this festival runs in the middle of winter as it truly does add a touch of light to an otherwise gloomy time of year. Before I take off, I wanted to share with you that the Fairmont and the TLF have teamed up for a social media giveaway.
