{Foxhound Collection X The Blondielocks orders ready to ship. This was a pretty surreal moment!}
I don’t think there’s any other way to put it other than this week has been the definition of what Highs and Lows stands for. I celebrated the highest of highs with the launch of my collaboration with Foxhound Collection on Tuesday while America was taking to the polls voting for what will go down in history as one of the most dramatic elections ever. I watched CBC closely on Tuesday night, dosing in and out of sleep until 1am when I woke up in a panic, scrambled for my laptop and read the news that Donald Trump had in fact beaten all odds and won the Presidential Candidacy. Though I like many others am still in shock and feel extreme disappointment with this outcome, I have to believe that love is stronger than hate and that this outcome will be for the best. The following quote by Nelson Mandela, that I posted earlier this week on Instagram, has been my saving grace this week so I want to leave you with it today. “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”.
