Whenever I think of high tea, I like to think of ladies in pastel with elegant fascinators in their hair, gossiping while nibbling on french macaroons. Perhaps this is a far stretch, but I like to think of it that way. This dress is in no way pastel, but it still reminded me of the type of dress you would wear to afternoon tea. The dress was purchased a while back on Hautelook and I just couldn’t say no. I love that fact that it is white and a shift dress, but what sealed the deal was the white beading around the neck that slowly fades around the middle of the dress. I added the low sandal with the rose gold heel as-well as the rose gold choker to give the look a monochromatic feel.
