With the weather being as frigid as it has been lately I haven’t been leaving my house unless absolutely necessary. I had a touch of the flu on Friday so it really was the perfect excuse to soak in a warm bath, and sleep all day. When I am not sick in bed, however, my go to outfit lately has been layering something frilly underneath a knit. The look reminds me of a sweater I saw at J Crew this past fall that had an attached frill lining on it. I find this look much for practical because I can use mix and match so many options. Plus, a pop of frill has me dreaming of warmer days ahead when I can ditch the sweater and wear just the frilly top and shorts.
