Okay you guys, I am so excited to share today’s blog post!! We’ve been working hard over here to give our living room a fresh update for fall and thanks to Structube it couldn’t have turned out better. I’ve been wanting to lighten up our living room for quite a while and since we don’t get much natural light in our space unless it’s really sunny outside, our dark, charcoal coach to put it simply, was making things feel pretty bleak. Structube has just recently launched a new line of buttery soft, leather coaches and my goodness are they beautiful! I had such a hard time choosing what style to go for but I knew that a tan leather sofa would bring a ton of warmth and light into our living room and so I started there. Structube has some beautiful mid-century modern coach styles like the Kinsey (which was my second choice) but ultimately we opted for the Jefferson because of its more contemporary style and because it is SO dang comfy! I just love it’s tan, distressed leather look that will only get better with time (as long as Milo keeps his claws off of it, haha!). Besides the couch, we also needed a new rug because our old one was getting pretty dingy. I am a sucker for white rugs but they get dirty, especially with a dog, so the Navi rug from Structube was a great compromise. It’s still very light and soft but the hand-woven texture, that has dark colour yarns spun throughout, will disguise dirt much better than our old rug. Plus, it is so soft and my feet feel so happy when they’re on it! Finally, we added a new velvet pink ottoman to our living room for a playful, unexpected pop of colour. I’ve been dying to add some pink to our living room and this velvet ottoman was the perfect starting point. For $99 I literally couldn’t go wrong and it also comes in a ton of other colours if you’re not a pink person. I also added a couple of new velvet dusty pink throw cushions to tie everything together and velvet is huge this season so I had to! And there you have it! Our new living room is everything I could have ever dreamed of. Our couch is such a classic style that I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of because it is so easy to change up season after season with new pillows, throws, etc. I hope you love these photos, we had so much fun shooting them!
