This weekend was absolutely gorgeous. So gorgeous in fact that I figured all I would need is a light jacket to take pictures over at Sugar Beach on Saturday (que Miss Congeniality quote). I was completely wrong in thinking that this was an appropriate look to stand down by the water in, but at least the background is pretty! Although I was a bit cold I was still so happy to finally be coming out of winter hibernation, wearing bright colours and lighter fabrics. This Jacket in particular is the perfect statement piece to throw on over anything to elevate the most basic of looks, and when styled with a wrap around braid (courtesy of my sister) it becomes the perfect get out and enjoy the weekend outfit.
