Floral Army

I guess you could say that August is that time of the year where I feel like I start winding down from that “schools out for summer” mind set, and start looking more towards  what I want my fall wardrobe to look like and start planning for the month of September.  Don’t get me wrong, I  haven’t  thrown beach days and bikinis out the window just yet, but I can definitely tell that the long summer days are getting shorter and cooler and that fall is just around the corner. To compromise for the way I’m feeling about this in-between season,  I felt the perfect addition to my frilly skirt would be my favourite military style jacket as a topper. It balances out the super summery bottoms and is necessary when the nights are cooling off (especially because I usually run cold). I have mentioned before I am an frequent print mixer so army and floral just felt right.
