We’re headed back to Halifax today to spend the entire month of August into September out east and I couldn’t be more excited. This weekend was all about getting our things organized and packed so that we could leave bright and early this morning. As you can guess, I didn’t leave the house too much this weekend except to take a trip to the grocery store and to finish shooting some freelance content, so my outfits all looked pretty much like this. I love a classic shorts and t-shirt combination, but I do think there’s always a way to the look feel extra stylish and fresh. I found this soft-as-they-come blue and white striped t from Gap recently and just loved the 1/4 length sleeved, ballet back and of course, the pastel blue colour that feels slightly nautical. I paired it with white cut-off’s, a floral pink scarf in my hair and a basket tote which I really think finished off the look and kept it feeling fun and unique. Who says you can’t make shorts and a t-shirt feel completely original!?
