This Valentines Day I wanted to brighten up our home with some sweet, tasteful decorations, and I thought what could be more swoon worthy than heart garland draped from the ceiling? Making this adorable garland is extremely easy and fun, and I even found it to be relaxing. If you have some free time this week why not prep your home for Valentines Day! Staring at pink hearts all day puts me in the best of moods and I’m sure it would do the same for you!
{I purchased this Fiscars heart punch at Michaels for under $20 with a 40% off coupon that you can find here. I found it to be extremely efficient and easy to use. Plus you can punch any type of paper with it.}
{Punch 2 holes through the hearts. If you string the garland horizontally (like I did) punch one whole through the middle top and the middle bottom of the heart. If you want to string the hearts vertically, punch 2 holes in the top center’s of the heart.}
{Make sure to colour coordinate the hearts so you can match them up when you are stringing them later.}
{String hearts as close or as far apart as you prefer, taping down the hearts as you go and then taping a matching heart shape on the back}
