It’s been hotter this week in Halifax than I can ever recall, so I took any and all excuses to eat ice cream in an attempt to cool down (though it melted in about 10 seconds, ha!). I stopped into Dee Dee’s ice cream downtown with Jamie, my sister, aunt and cousin after we couldn’t take the heat any longer. I ended up trying three flavours, berrry-berry, mango and orange creamsicle and holly molly were they ever delicious! Dee Dee’s definitely has the best ice cream in Halifax so if you’re downtown or in Peggy’s Cove, you must go and grab a scoop or two. I wore these jeans that I spotted recently at Joe Fresh which were maybe a little to heavy for the heat but they’re just so cute that I couldn’t wait to break them out. I love the wide leg and raw hem and think these will work well going into the fall with leather mules and booties.
