One of my favourite days in Stowe, VT. was the day Jamie and I took a tour of Cold Hollow Cider Mill. We also explored a couple of farms that day in which one had goats, so admittedly I was a pretty happy gal. Cold Hollow is one of the most well known cider mills in Vermont. They’re known for using old techniques of apple pressing which you can actually watch go down while at the mill. I was so fascinated by the apple pressing process and stayed to watch the entire demonstration. I also love that they save the apple pulp to make dog treats which of course, we bought for Milo to take home with us (he loved them!). After our self guided tour of the cider mill, we picked up some hot apple cider and apple cider donuts (respectively) to enjoy outside in the fresh Vermont air. I layered up with a cozy forrest green sweater, plaid Ann Taylor blazer (that is one of my faves this season), wool baker boy hat and my cozy maternity jeans that are so darn comfortable.
