I’ve never been a girl who wears red as a statement piece until this year. I’ve now worn the colour 3 times (see here & here) and I couldn’t love it more. The bold colour feels fresh and unexpected on myself and I’ve really grown to love it. Plus, there’s something to be said about the cheery colour around the holidays as it feels so festive. I recently stopped into Ever New, one of my favorite stores to shop at this season (see past looks here & here) for a cozy meets glamorous holiday look and they definitely didn’t disappoint. I knew that I wanted a bright red coat and this one was perfect with its tailored fit and exaggerated sleeves. The coat is also wool, so it keeps me feeling extra warm. I have worn this coat non-stop but my favorite look so far has to be this one thanks to the bright red oversized sweater. Not only does it hide my holiday tummy wonderfully but when paired with the streamlined red jacket, skinny jeans, and glam heels the look feels all kinds of festive which is exactly the style I’m aiming to achieve right now.
