When January hits, all I really want to do is wear clothes that make me feel as though I’m wrapped in a warm, cozy blanket. This is absolutely the case with this outfit. I ordered this pink faux fur coat with the sweetest bow tie detail on boxing day as I’d been stalking it for a couple of months but was unwilling to buy it unless it went on sale. Luckily for me, on boxing day it did (plus an additional 30% off, yay!). I had originally planned on wearing my new coat over a dress or with jeans and heels but it has been so gloomy and cold in the city and getting “dressed” has been the last thing I’ve wanted to do. I opted for wool joggers and Chelsea style wellies instead and I think it really worked! While this outfit is pretty casual in nature, I love how the pink coat makes it feel a touch more dressy. And with small details like dainty lace trimmed socks sticking out slightly from my boots, who says a casual look can’t feel glamorous?
