Rarely do I opt for an outfit that features a lot of black, especially in the form of the dress, boots and bag. However, when this dress recently caught my eye, I knew I had to try it on. Just by looking at it, I had a feeling that it would highlight and flatter my bump nicely and I found myself drawn to the mix and match geometric and floral print. Online on the model, the dress fits very loose and the waist hits lower, which is how it is meant to. However, for this preggo, the waistline sits just above my ribs and gives off a slight “tucked in shirt” effect. While I don’t necessarily think this dress will fit throughout my whole pregnancy, as there’s a side zipper and no stretch, this dress is perfect for those who are in the first trimester and fits well into 23 weeks of pregnancy…plus, it will still look great afterward! I can also see myself pulling this dress out come the spring with loafers or even Keds style sneakers for a more casual, on-the-go look.
