Optical Illusions

I love how an outfit can define your day. It’s crazy really. You can be having the worst morning and as soon as you put on that blouse that fits you perfectly or that sparkly pair of heels, something changes and your mood suddenly shifts. This skirt in-particular did just that for me. With its fit and flare shape and colour blocking side panels, it just makes me giddy. I feel so girly and cheerful in it. The window, that we just happened to drive by felt like the perfect backdrop to showcase this outfit. Giving an optical illusion type feeling. When I noticed it, I literally hoped out of the car and asked my boyfriend to take some shots. I think they turned out super fun and flirty.

Coconut Red Chicken Curry

Thai food is an open love of mine, leaning towards mild addiction. I came across this recipe for Thai Panang Curry on Pinterest months ago and made it right away. It has since become a staple, each time more enjoyable then the last. I have named the recipe Coconut Red Chicken Curry as I adjusted the recipe from panang curry and tofu, to red curry and chicken. High Tea

Whenever I think of high tea, I like to think of ladies in pastel with elegant fascinators in their hair, gossiping while nibbling on french macaroons. Perhaps this is a far stretch, but I like to think of it that way. This dress is in no way pastel, but it still reminded me of the type of dress you would wear to afternoon tea. The dress was purchased a while back on Hautelook and I just couldn’t say no. I love that fact that it is white and a shift dress, but what sealed the deal was the white beading around the neck that slowly fades around the middle of the dress. I added the low sandal with the rose gold heel as-well as the rose gold choker to give the look a monochromatic feel.
