Mix and Match Plaid

October 2, 2014

1

When the fall rolls around (yay it’s October) like many,  I always find myself leaning towards sweaters, layering pieces, and of course flannel. I have a fair share of flannel button downs in my closet but as soon as I saw this mixed plaid shirt by Joe Fresh I knew I had to have it.  It was unlike anything I had ever seen before with its opposites attract plaid. I purchased it for a cool $29 and know I will be wearing it with just about everything this fall.

Hart Republic Pop Up Shop Part 2

August 14, 2014

1
After a week of anticipation looking forward to the Hart Republic pop up shop, last night was finally the night! I spent the day looking for the perfect pair of shoes, painting my nails and doing all the things girls do to prep for an evening out. I had so much fun last night meeting you all and hanging out with HR owner Kaylyn. We sipped wine, tried on clothes and talked all things fashion! If you didn’t get a chance to make it to the pop-up shop, be sure to head on over to the Hart Republic website to shop for some beautiful clothing. I was honestly so impressed at how gorgeous and unique the brands HR carries, and the quality is second to none! Hart Republic will be in Charlottetown PEI next, so if you are around the area sign up via e-mail and get in the know about all things Hart Republic!

Preserve Picks

July 30, 2014

If you haven’t already heard, Blake Lively launched her new lifestyle website Preserve less than a week ago, and it has been getting some pretty harsh reviews. Being called “over priced”, and being compared to Goop (Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle Website), it seems like the critics are not at all on board. Although I do agree that a wooden crate should not be sold for $95, I kind of love everything on the Preserve website. All of the pieces are crafted from artisans all over America and come together in one pretty package on Preserve. I found myself lusting over many items on the website that were totally up my alley, and I love the idea of having a piece with a story behind it in my home. From food to housewares and clothing here are my top picks from Preserve.
