When I was a child a went through a phase where absolutely everything had to be pink and purple. From my clothing to my pyjamas I loved the colour combination more than anything. It has been years since I even considered wearing the two colours together as I don’t want to step out looking like a toddler but I was easily persuaded to try the combo once again after purchasing this Joe Fresh Dress. I had originally planned on wearing this flowy, printed dress without a belt, but on me I found it needed a little something to show off my waist. I remembered that I had this pink/mauve belt from Brave and as soon as I tried it I fell in love with the look. It takes me back to my childhood without feeling too literal and I love that it made the dress shorter so I could pull out my fave thigh-high boots.
