Each summer while we’re in Halifax, Jamie and I make it a point to map out a couple of day trips we’d like to take around Nova Scotia. Luckily, most of the destinations that we choose are only about an hour-long dive, so we end up having a ton of time to spend at each spot we visit. Mahone Bay is a tiny town that always makes it on our must visit list. I’ve probably been to Mahone Bay 10 times in my life yet I never seem to get sick of it. It’s such a charming little town with picturesque water views, delicious food and quaint boutiques that I can’t get enough of. We took a little day trip this past Monday and ended up spending about 2 hours in Mahone Bay and then made our way into Lunenburg (another adorable town that I’m definitely going to try to get back to asap). Funnily enough, I wore this white dress that unintentionally looks so similar to the short white dress I posted about on Monday. Clearly I love white dresses with ruffles and open back details, haha! This dress specifically however, was actually the dress I had planned on wearing for our engagement party I’d been hoping to host this August. But, time has flown by and I never took the time to start planning and so I’ve decided to hold off on our engagement party for now. I’m by no means disappointed about it and am just happy that I got a chance to break out this gorgeous dress before the summer ended! Plus, I got to wear it for a very special day spent with Jamie who gave me all the compliments I needed to cure any woes I had about the engagement party hiatus.
What I’m Wearing: Majorelle Dress c/o Revolve (sold out, similar here) // Cult Gaia Clutch (here) // Raye Sandals c/o Revolve (here) // Uniqlo Scarf (similar)
